Luke Knox is a writer and director. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, in 2020 with a major in Film and TV and a minor in Anthropology. He has worked on a wide variety of productions, including directing the short film The Doorman which premiered at the Sun Valley Film Festival and was featured in the Poor Life Choices Comedy Film Festival as well as The Big Apple Film Festival. Luke has directed eight shorts and written five screenplays. He has worked as a producer, sound mixer, and gaffer, and also dapples in improv and stand-up comedy.
Before focusing on film, Luke directed plays, adapted work for the stage (including Breakfast Club), and wrote original scripts. Luke has been writing and directing since age 12, has been fortunate enough to see many of his creations come to life, and is excited to continue his career in the film industry. Always thinking and creating Luke likes to challenge the ordinary. He loves writing and directing work that surprises audiences with questioning their everyday lives and actions.
